UPDOX

Updox is a HIPAA compliant communication platform for us to provide secure communication with our patients. This system includes fax and virtual (telehealth) communication and communicates with our electronic health information (EHR).

General message

• You will receive a link “Hi _____, you have a message from your medial provider…”

• You will need to confirm your DOB and set up a 5 numeral passcode

  Virtual/telehealth message

• “Hi________, you have a secure virtual visit invite from Tara Burke-Muscatello.”

  Click on JOIN VIRTUAL VISIT follow prompts for permission to allow camera, microphone, click next and once all verified (icons for camera and microphone turn green, click Join Call.

• You will receive appointment reminders

• You will receive a secure link for all telehealth appointments 

• You will send all forms via updox

• Other ways we use updox: faxing with other providers

• All Updox links will expire after 48 hours.
